Aden, Yemen - 12 Dec 2023  The SANDbox Business Incubator at Medalah Foundation was honored to host a visit by Her Excellency Catherine Cormier-Pigeon, Ambassador of France to Yemen, as part of the incubator's efforts to strengthen cooperation with international organizations supporting entrepreneurship in Yemen.

The visit included an introductory tour for Her Excellency the Ambassador at the SANDbox Business Incubator, where she was introduced to the incubator's facilities and the services it provides to entrepreneurs. She also met with a number of entrepreneurs participating in the incubator's programs.

Moad Shibani, General Manager of Mubadala Foundation, gave a presentation to Her Excellency the Ambassador about the SANDbox program, explaining its objectives, components, and the number of beneficiaries. Shibani also discussed with the Ambassador the Beginning Project, a joint project between Madalah  Foundation and the French organization Supernova, which aims to support Yemeni entrepreneurs by providing training, guidance, and financing.

The attendees discussed with the Ambassador the next steps to strengthen cooperation between the SANDbox Business Incubator and Mubadala Foundation with French organizations supporting entrepreneurship in Yemen, with the aim of creating a supportive and effective environment for Yemeni entrepreneurs.
