As part of the weekly series of converting meetings with an umbrella institution in the technical and entrepreneurial sector, a meeting was held on the basics of applying for scholarships from A to Z, with the participation of many speakers from Education Yemen and AMIDEAST, which are among the most important sources of scholarship opportunities in Yemen.
The meeting explained the basics of applying for grants and giving attendees a complete idea of all the needs and arrangements necessary to facilitate the application process for external grants, and the most important skills needed for applicants for these grants.
The meeting was opened by Ms. Faten Maatouk, "speaking on behalf of Education Yemen", who gave an overview of the institution, the opportunities and the grant announcements that it offers, and also talked about the conditions and requirements of various grants and the obstacles facing most applicants. The meeting included a video recording from the founder of the institution, Mr. Abdullah Al-Ghurabi, who spoke The most common requirements for grants and what services Education Yemen provides.
The meeting included an intervention from Professor Suhaib, who spoke about the most important condition of the grants, which is the English language. He knew about language levels and the types of international tests required, and reviewed a video about that.
Then the meeting concluded with AMIDEAST, where Mr. Saher, Program Assistant in the organization, spoke about the annual grants offered by AMIDEAST and the most important criteria required of applicants through these grants, and answered all the questions raised by the attendees, followed by a live broadcast via google meet where Ms. Mona spoke About the mechanism of choosing the major and the university when you search for grants and the method of application, in addition to the most important opportunities offered by AMIDEAST.
The diversity of attendance among high school students who are about to enter universities and choose their majors, and among university graduates who are in the process of studying for a master's and doctorate. The meeting received a great interaction from the attendees, who expressed their admiration for the content of the meeting, the speakers, the hall and the venue.
