Medalah Foundation holds a discussion session on intellectual property and creative industries within the framework of Medalah Communities activities.
Last Sunday, September 3rd, the Medalah Foundation held a dialogue and discussion session on intellectual property and creative industries with Mr. Abdel Nasser Radman, Deputy Director of Intellectual Property at Abu Ghazaleh Intellectual Property.
Professor Radman explained the concept of intellectual property and its importance in protecting creativity and innovation and promoting economic and cultural development. Radman also introduced the attendees to the creative industries in the digital space and the challenges created as a result of the development of digital technology and the Internet.
The meeting, which took place online, was facilitated and moderated by Mr. Ali bin Amer, the media advisor for Medalah Foundation, and was attended by many creative people from the design community, the drawing community, the content writing community, and the photography community.
The meeting concluded by talking about the reality of the creative industries in Yemen, the challenges and opportunities, and the efforts made by creative men and women under these difficult circumstances.
