Perspective Studio, in collaboration with SANDBOX Business Incubator, organized an interactive workshop entitled "Freelancing: Opportunities and Challenges in a Globalized World" targeting more than 40 freelancers in Aden from Umbrella Communities members.

Speaker:

The workshop was presented by Mr. Mahdi Karama Joban, founder and creative director of Perspective Studio, who has 18 years of experience in the creative and artistic fields.

Workshop Content:

The workshop covered a variety of important topics related to freelancing, including:

• Defining freelancing: Mr. Joban explained the concept of freelancing and its different types.
• Essential freelancing skills: Mr. Joban provided valuable tips on the skills that freelancers need to succeed in their work.
• Freelancing platforms: Mr. Joban reviewed the most important freelancing platforms available online and how to use them effectively.
• How to market your services as a freelancer: Mr. Joban provided practical advice on how to market freelancer services to attract clients.
• Challenges faced by freelancers: Mr. Joban discussed the challenges faced by freelancers in Yemen, such as political and economic instability, the difficulty of obtaining payments from clients, and the lack of skills in some areas.
• Opportunities available to freelancers: Mr. Joban highlighted the opportunities available to freelancers in a globalized world, such as the ability to work with clients from all over the world and enjoy the freedom and flexibility of work.

Discussion Session:

The workshop was followed by an open discussion session where participants had the opportunity to ask Mr. Joban their questions and discuss the challenges and opportunities they face as freelancers.
