The YEC Hackathon concluded after several intensive days filled with challenge, teamwork, and creativity, in an entrepreneurial experience designed to support innovative ideas and empower youth to transform their concepts into actionable solutions.

The hackathon featured a series of dynamic stages, beginning with training and mentoring sessions, followed by prototype development and rehearsals, and culminating in final presentations before judging panels, in an atmosphere that reflected collaboration and innovation among participating teams.

The event also served as a platform for knowledge exchange and skill development, helping participants strengthen their entrepreneurial thinking, teamwork, presentation, and project development abilities in preparation for future professional and entrepreneurial pathways.

The hackathon organizers expressed pride in all participating teams and the ideas presented, while appreciating the efforts of trainers, mentors, judges, and partners who contributed to the success of this experience.

This activity is part of the Youth Empowerment Center (YEC), implemented under the umbrella of Medalah Foundation, in partnership with Oxfam in Yemen, and supported and funded by the European Union in Yemen.
