Medalah Foundation participates in the conclusion of the consultative meetings to draw up the National Youth Plan 2025-2030

The Ministry of Youth and Sports, represented by the Youth Sector, concluded today, Thursday, the consultative meetings to draw up the National Youth Plan 2025-2030, which was organized in partnership with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
Medalah Foundation actively participated in these meetings, along with representatives of government agencies, international organizations, civil society, the private sector, and active youth.

The last consultative session was attended by the Undersecretary of the Youth Sector, Dr. Munir Mani' Lama', the Acting Undersecretary of the Training and Rehabilitation Sector, Saad Al-Omari, UNICEF Advisor Sarah Shoman, the Youth Program Analyst at the United Nations Population Fund, Wael Al-Arim, and the Youth Program Coordinator at the Fund in Aden, Alaa Ihab.

The Undersecretary of the Youth Sector, Dr. Munir Lama', confirmed that the five-day meetings aimed to identify the priorities and challenges facing youth, based on the results of previous discussion sessions in the liberated governorates. He added that these meetings laid the foundation for formulating policies and plans that enhance the economic and social integration of youth, with a focus on empowerment and participation.

For its part, Medalah Foundation contributed effectively to the discussions, as it worked to highlight the needs of youth and its role in supporting innovative youth initiatives, and strengthening partnerships with various parties to achieve the desired goals of the National Youth Plan.

The Ministry had launched these meetings last Sunday with the participation of 20 government agencies and a number of international organizations and the private sector, in addition to active youth representatives, with the aim of enhancing the role of youth as a key partner in formulating public policies and driving the wheel of development.
