Aden, Yemen - February 15, 2024: Mr. Mohammed Akkar, CEO and Founder of Jisr HR, visited Medalah Foundation and SANDBOX Business Incubator in Aden to learn about the foundation's efforts to empower startups in the city.

During the visit, Mr. Akkar met with the  MedalahFoundation and SANDBOX Business Incubator team and learned about their work and programs that support young entrepreneurs.

Mr. Akkar also discussed with the team the challenges facing young people in Aden and the opportunities available to them, especially in the information technology sector.

Jisr HR is a leading provider of human resources solutions, offering a SaaS platform to businesses across the Middle East and North Africa.

The company recently raised $30 million in a funding round led by MEVP, marking the largest Series A round for a SaaS company in the Middle East.

Mr. Akkar expressed his admiration for the efforts of Umbrella Foundation and SANDBOX Business Incubator in supporting young entrepreneurs in Aden, and stressed the importance of the role of these institutions in developing our Arab economies.
