Over the course of three days, and with the participation of more than 120 small business owners and freelancers, the Al-Qutaibi Islamic Microfinance Bank team, in collaboration with Medalah Foundation, organized three workshops as part of Global Money Week. The workshops covered:

• Financial Inclusion

• Islamic Finance Formulas

• Introduction to the Shilling E-Wallet

The sessions aimed to raise awareness about the importance of financial inclusion and to facilitate access to financial and banking services for all segments of society. This aligns with the Central Bank of Yemen’s efforts to promote financial literacy and ensure easy and secure access to banking services.

The workshops also focused on the role of e-wallets, such as the Shilling Wallet, in expanding financial access, especially for unbanked populations, by offering safe, convenient, and inclusive digital financial solutions.
