The Youth Empowerment Center (YEC) organized the introductory session for the YEC Hackathon, bringing together participating team leaders to introduce them to the hackathon stages, mechanisms, and overall program journey.

During the session, an overview of the different hackathon phases and evaluation process was presented, along with clarifying expectations from participating teams to ensure their readiness for a structured and effective experience.

The session also created space for interaction and questions, helping build a shared understanding and strengthen communication between the teams and organizers.

This session reflects the center’s commitment to preparing participants and empowering them to transform their ideas into innovative solutions with meaningful community impact.

This activity is implemented under the umbrella of Medalah Foundation, in partnership with Oxfam in Yemen, and supported and funded by the European Union in Yemen.
